I picked up the MS Bluesmaster from Gravity on Saturday and took it to a jam that evening. Everyone was very impressed with the guitar and its sound. As I gathered from your website the neck is very playable and the type I prefer, and the guitar arrived set up exactly as requested. Gravity was easy to deal with and very helpful. Thanks for your help.

Pleasse stop coming out with hotter nicer guitars I love the old blues master and no the white lighning, OMG! I am hooked like a monkey. The White lightning is the perfect other guitar for that musician that is looking for the baddest ass guitar possible.. Good work guys this is everything you said it was. Soon as I get out of guitars anonymous I'll be headed your way.

Hey guys,
Got back to Sweden with my sweet 61 South and this thing is a MONSTER on stage!
It was completely unexpected that after one day in Memphis, and just by chance passing by the SB Workshop (after a Sun Studio's visit) that I would be going home with one...
I love everything about this 61 South and it slides like Muddy Water's dream guitar.
It's so clean and creamy yet dangerous and nasty with the turn of a knob...
I've already passed out many brochures.

Thank you all for your great workmanship and friendly vibe!

Wow! Thank you for replying, Brian. Didn't expect any response. Truth is I'm a wee bit embarassed by saying this. I got it used at an acoustic music store called music folk, in Webster Groves, Missouri. I wanted to go electric again, after playing acoustic for many years. I went there, knowing I had something to trade. I played the bluesmaster iv and fell in love. i traded a 1800's john haynes gut string for the bluesmaster and a traynor amp.

I will honestly say this.......best playing and sounding guitar I ever owned!!!! That is saying something!!! Before this, it was my 1957 p-90 equiped les paul gold top. (traded long ago as a downpayment on a house). I've always been a gibson fan and have owned firebirds, lps, etc. I've also owned several fenders. I liked the fender sound, but didn't like the overall feel of the guitar. not sure what it is about the bluesmaster, but you took the intangible thing I didn't like about fenders and removed it!!! having a humbucker also helps!!! now, I have the best of both worlds. I liked telecasters knob placement, which helps for danny gatton type stuff and the string thru design, which gives tone. and the humbucker gives gibbo growl.

I'm suprised at the weight, considering the body is so small. but, it's a sustain monster as a result!!!! amazingly comftable to wear. the body is perfectly balanced.

I just got home with it and played for about 45 minutes, a blues medley. johnny winter, allmans, muddy, srv, buddy guy and albert king type stuff. I played great!!! the thing is, I havent had an electric over my shoulders, or played standing up in a long time. I now only fingerpick with bare fingers. I expected to make a ton of mistakes, but I didn't!!!!! GREAT guitar!!!!!

I'm now a St. Blues fan. I'll rave on to all my friends about it!!!!

Well, I have my Bluesmaster II now, made a special trip to my old hometown to visit old friends and pick it up. Like "Chinna" Smith told me, it is a beautifully playable instrument straight out of the box. It feels great, sounds great, and makes a statement. Well done you guys!

Hey Bryan & Brian & Emily,
I want to thank you for being so awesome to me and letting me have a great time at your place. The Blues Master II is a kick ass guitar and I have been telling a lot of my buddies who are on the road that if they do Memphis to stop in and Say Hi and to try it out.
So if some one comes in and ask to try out the Guitar that Emo likes you know which one it is !
I also want to get one for myself. And I want to get one of your T-shirts for On-Stage.
Ok later & keep in touch !

TK, heard you're back in business. I still play the two customs you made for me in the early 90's. They are still incredible! Anyone reading, if you get a chance to play a St. Blues, know that TK is the best in the business...just don't rsvp for a dinner and not show up..his wife gets upset. LOL

Glad to hear you're doing it again TK, I'll be in touch.
