| Just took delivery of a St Blues Bluescaster IV, Honey Burst Flame, and I can't put it down. Half the price of a Telecaster but twice the guitar. A joy to hold and play. Keep it up! |

| I own a S & T Custom, serial number 03113, that I found used in 1991. I believe these became the original St. Blues Bluescasters or Bluesmasters. It is the single cutaway with a tele style pickguard and two tapped humbuckers. It sports a maple neck with rosewood board and kluson style tuners. It is finished in a translucent red which now shows some battle scars of our many adventures around the country. I will NEVER part with this guitar. I think it has a neck on equal with my'56 tele and it plays great. I hope to try some of the new models soon. They appear to be very nicely made an seem to be quite popular. But onr e if you can find one. |

| Ok, missed you guys at the Dallas Guitar Show this weekend. I played the Peavey stage with Eleven 21 Band Saturday. www.eleven21band.com I was a judge for the Samuel Adams guitar contest last year and strolled by your booth last year and bought a King Bass. I own about 8 basses and play a ton of sessions out here in Dallas. I'm TOTALLY astonished other bass Kats haven't discovered this bass! It's truly one of the best, most versitile basses I've ever played and I use it almost exclusively with the Eleven 21 band. I sometimes need the Carruther's 5 string. King has got a great warm tone and when I want to funk on a 4 string it's just a knob twist away! YOU GUYS HAVE AN AMAZINGLY UNSUNG BASS!! Some of the kids I teach have asked about it, other than flying to Memphis I don't know where locally they can buy it? Short of being the local TV house band and playing my King Bass on the air I don't know what else I can do to promote your axe! I'm a serious fan! . . .

| I actually won a Goldtop bluesmaster with P90s from
RKM Music in Edmonton Alberta. My main guitar is a 67 Gretsch Country Gentleman but I find myself playing the bluesmaster more than the Gretsch.
The tone just knocks me out. I have done A/B comparisons with the St. Blues against way more expensive axes and there is no comparison. You guys rock!

| I bought a King Blues Bass From Vine Music Evesham, as a back up bass, but since then it has been the only one I use, great tone and playability, it gives Fender Jazz Basses a run for the money, which is all I played until now. |

| I just sold a JV Strat and bought a Quiltop MS Blues Master. To say this was a step up is an UNDERSTATEMENT !!
This guitar has made me fall in love with playing all over again ! I'm 54 and I've owned quite a few guitars in my day, but this is a fantastic guitar. I read the review in Premier Guitar, and decided to get one. I'm already planning to buy another ! Keep up the good work ! God Bless !! |

| I've just been seduced by a BlueMaster II - I dropped into my local store, (PMT Music in Birmingham), and sitting in a corner was this pretty, pretty little gem. I played it acoustically for a while and then had to leave for a pre arranged appointment. Next day I was nagging myself to get back there and plug that baby in - and what a stunning sound - just direct into an amp it has to be one of the best and most characterful tones to come out of a guitar! Beautiful - I'm in love again and its been added to my collection! |

| Well, I finally bought a King Blues Bass. This is one well-built, great sounding instrument! I just threw on some flatwounds and started groovin'... Thanks for bringing back the St. Blues line, Bryan!
P.S. When can we expect to see some funky retro colors like seafoam green and shell pink?!? Matching headstocks would be nice... (A guy can wish, can't he?) |

| I just saw your ad in 20th Century Guitar Mag. and I'm totally enthralled by your Bluesmaster II. I've been searching for a used Fender tele, but I'd rather have one of your unused models. Very hot looking guitar. We need a dealer here in ohio!

| I had a Strings n Things Custom in the early 80's that had two coil tap humbuckers and a single between them. Was very nice. Then I moved and had to sell it. Now I would like a Bluesmaster. We have a dealer in Cambridge MA right across from Harvard U.! |

| I own, and still gig with Serial #00001 Bluesmaster that I got back in the eighties! She's as solid and as pretty, as the day she was made! I often times wondered who's hands have touched this classic beauty! I live in Denver and can't wait to play a new one! |

Yagga Yo Massive! I am compelled to use this space and time to tell all who will read this offering about my "experience" with a Mississippi Bluesmaster! Brian Halley visited a recent show in CA and brought with him an instrument for me to check out. Breaking "all" taboos, I unzipped the gig bag onstage and removed what was to become my future guitar. I took another famous maker guitar from my shoulder, strapped on the "MB", tuned her up and proceeded on a life changing journey. This harp was equipped with factory humbuckers and the provided backline amp was a Line 6 Spider dialed to a classic Blackface setting. This was a battle testing experience in its purest form and I am here to say that this harp came through with full flying colors!
I was first taken aback by the weight of this guitar. Knowing that the guitar is mostly mahogany, I was expecting to strap on a hefty piece of wood but to my surprise, I found the guitar very light and balanced with no strap adjustment from my former number 1 position. The bolted mahogany neck gave me the visual impression of playing a thru neck instrument that is similarly scaled at 24.75. The neck felt at once familiar and fast. I think that the guitar was strung with a .009 gauge set of strings that worked well with its medium sized fretwire. I felt no glitches on either side of the fretboard on the occasions that I slid into chord accents. The factory set-up was extremely nice and friendly, however, I did make a mental adjustment to the lighter string gauge with my strum hand.
Now hear this! The stock pickups are as balanced as any I have ever heard! The rhythm (front) pickup is very bass heavy, enough to cause worry about the amps speaker! I was actually feeling the thump onstage when playing pick lines. I found the middle selection (front and rear) to be sweet and chimey with enough midrange to sit in the mix with no volume shifts. This is my favorite choice on any guitar and I was very happy with the sound I was getting. Clear and bright with snap on the accents. The treble (rear) pickup was bold and definitely has enough bite to be recognized but not thin or tinny. During a solo, I stepped on my wha pedal and was able to use the full range of the pedal without losing any part of the sound. When I reached the top of the stroke, the sound was still there, bright but not screechy. Yes, I clicked through all the positions and found that every selection yields a useful voicing. I used the tone pot to shape the treble pickup in one passage and noted that it was responsive. it closed off the highs enough for a darker more human throat sound to come forward. It has always been a difficult task to explain something so subjective as a "sound" but my attempt here is to simply say, I dig it. I have recorded with a number of guitars over the years and I am looking forward to sharing this new sound with those guitarists that are listening. I hardly had a chance to look at the guitar as it was showtime but during some drum and bass breaks, I flipped the guitar up enough to marvel at the richly figured flame maple top. The antique violin finish glowed under the stage lights revealing more depth in the striping of the wood. The grain of the bound mahogany body was yet another thing to admire. Needless to say, I was smitten.
I was able to play this guitar comfortably, to the point of abandon. It is apparent that a great deal of quality and care was invested into this instrument, my hands, ears and eyes combined to confirm this. Audience members remarked to me after the show how much I was beaming and smiling like a child. All the band members agreed that they clearly heard the guitar and liked it! Fortunately, it was the next to last show of the tour and I was prepared to finish the tour without the instrument. Knowing what was not in my gig bag on the flight home is when I became blue. I am hopeful that others will have the pleasure of discovering this gem like me. I really think that any guitarist on any level will appreciate-love this instrument! Give thanks to each and everyone involved in bringing this guitar into existence. I sincerely thank you all. |

| I had a St. Blues that was made on Union Avenue probably in the 80's. I also have over 50 other guitars that I have collected since I was a teen, but the St. Blues is one of the best out of all of them. |

| Hello from Finland. I've owned a St. Blues guitar for over 21 years and she's a best friend of mine, after my family, of course. Before my St. Blues I owned a Fender Stratocaster, but I like St. Blues more. |

| On Saturday 10/13/07, I spent 3 and 1/2 hours at Fat Tone Guitars in Northbrook, IL. I tried out 3 different St. Blues models; each model is a super fine guitar. The folks ar Fat Tone Guitars are top notch pros, they know quality instruments, no pressure or hype. They set it up so that I could comfortably test drive each model and they were there to answer any and all questions. I purchased the Bluescaster model. |
